Making Valentine’s Day Cookies

February’s Challenge focuses on Sweetness and Love.  This image – brothers holding hands captured it for me.  Mind you, I know G was probably grabbing S’s hand to keep him from digging into his creation, but I can pretend a bit, can’t I?   To see how Michelle views Sweetness and Love, follow me there:  http://alwaysmrssmith.wordpress.com/2012/03/02/the-way-i-view-sweetness-and-love-2/

Other images from that cookie making adventure:

Not the best crop, but a close-up of the icing in his hair and face!

Walt made these.  I noticed afterwards that he used pink M&Ms for my initials while the guys all got red.

The final creation.  Sadly to say, we put too much dough in the tins, and they puffed in the oven and created a huge mess.  But seriously, who would want to eat this ocean of icing and M&Ms anyway?

Kimberly Heath - Oh my, I am so in love with these precious boys! I love G’s haircut too. He looks like a little man. I knew you said G loved chocolate like you do and the pictures confirm just how much he does. I hope everyone has recovered from the stomach bug. Have you considered that it wasn’t a stomach bug at all but a tummy ache from too many sweets? LOL!

Cary - Well these sure are beautiful shots of sweetnes and love! Cooking with kids is always a sweet adventure with lots of craziness :) Looks delish, and how cute is it that your’s got pink m&m’s lol!

Rachel - Beautiful pictures…and this looks like so much fun!!!!

Valerie - Love these!! I have 3 boys and love baking with them. It’s always a great big mess but so worth it in the end. Great job Kim!

DawneC - Great captures! I love baking with my kids… and these are pictures you will always treasure!

Holly Thompson - Kim, that first shot just oozes love and sweetness! I love how one hand is covered in frosting… awww!

Claire Lane - Oh just gorgeous Kim!! Looks like they had so much fun together!!

SUSAN Heath - Looks like the kids had a blast! Great job :)
